Can I save you a lot of money that would otherwise be flushed down the toilet pipes on this device? Yes, I have personal experience with the Titan 1000. Firstly, these devices are not actually made in Germany. GER has a PO box in Germany but these devices are actually manufactured in Turkey. It's unbelievable that so many of these metal detector companies can get away with falsely claiming "Made in Germany" these days but it happens quite a lot. I would go so far as to say that the device is totally useless. Made of the cheapest plastic materials. With a touchscreen that barely works. I remember the owner had to unscrew an antenna to use as a stylus every time he had to use the "touch screen". The screen would not even stay up. The hinges were so weak and cheaply made that they had already worn out. You had to hold the screen up with your other hand, lol. The long range locator is just two swinging antennas on an axis. You hope your wrist will twist the right way and make the antennas lock on to a target. Perhaps a 1 in 1 trillion chance of success. It has only a single sensor magnetometer to use as a gradiometer that produces the silly color visualizations on the tablet. It's only picking up very shallow magnetic fields, if any at all, making it a total and complete waste of time. Many Filipinos have fallen victum and spent their life's savings on this scam device from GER. I hope you will not be the next!
